Hutan Rekreasi UTM

  • Recreational Forest UTM, located within the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) campus in Skudai, is a preserved natural forest that serves as a hub for outdoor activities, research, and ecological education. This lush green space features diverse flora and fauna, jungle trekking trails, small waterfalls, and streams, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts. It provides facilities for hiking, cycling, and camping, and is frequently used for student training programs, environmental studies, and survival exercises. The forest not only promotes outdoor recreation but also supports research in biodiversity, geoinformation, and forestry, making it a valuable asset for both education and leisure.

AIM

To analyze the spatial patterns of carbon stock distribution within the UTM Recreational Forest using GIS-based techniques.

OBJECTIVES
